Gujarat – the home state of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of Nation, is the 6th largest state in India, located in the western part of India. The state is famous for its beaches, temple towns and historic capitals. GEOGRAPHY & CLIMATE

Gujarat is located in the western part of India.It is the 6th largest state with 1,600 km of coastline.The state also has many rivers such as Tapi, Narmada & Sabarmati.The state is also famous for "Rann of Kutch" which is a seasonally marshy saline clay desert located in the Thar Desert.The state comprises of deserts, scrublands, grasslands, deciduous forests, and wetlands to mangroves, coral reefs, estuaries, and gulfs.

The three main seasons are Summer, Monsoon & Winter.Summer falls between March to May with temperatures ranging between 29 - 41 Celsius.Winter falls between November to February with temperatures ranging between 12- 29 Celsius.Monsoon falls between June to October with temperatures ranging between 27- 35 Celsius.
